Jason, great post and thank you for directing me to it on my comments. The fact is that some companies get it and some don't, those that do are more efficient in the hiring process (as well as other processes). Please keep in touch, I have bookmarked your site.<br/><br/>"Why can't we all just get along!"

Very good and thought provoking post – as someone who has lived and more importantly worked on both sides of the fence. I always think that not building a strong business partnership is certainly a detriment to recruiting process. When both HR and recruiter have a respect for the value each party brings to table the recruiting process has greater positive influence on the business’ bottom line.

I think recruiters embody change- after all- it's something we initiate on behalf of our organizations every day. It has been my experience that the resistance and old-school behaviors and attitudes usually come from those "hr" types. How can recruiters help move folks like this out or up?

All I can say is "Yes!" Dead on, needed to be said, and hopefully we can get past the naysaying, finger pointing and blame games that embody both groups. Loved the pledges at the end. Well done Jason!
